Pilates is a method that can be used by anyone at any age. From a person recovering from an injury to an elite Athlete in peak performance, pilates can keep your body fine tuned and performing at it’s best. I have been in the fitness industry for over 20 years and will continue with Pilates until I retire (which won’t be for some time). That’s the best thing I like about Pilates… if you body knows it, it can return to it at anytime and rejuvenate, recover and thrive well into our 90’s.
I really enjoy where I work currently at Rex Wellness Center of Wakefield because I can use my hybrid skills to work with people using conventional strength and cardio (TRX, Kettlebells, Bosu’s, Ropes, Free Weights, etc.) and then finish off the workout with Pilates fine tuning, or I can give you a complete Pilates workout, whichever you prefer.
I am also excited to offer Pilates online using the technology. 80% of Americans are not going to the gym. Now we can help them in their own homes. Through Skype, FaceTime, and other technology we can bring Pilates to you where ever you are 🙂
