Frequently Asked Questions

Find Quick Answers to Your Concerns.

Discuss My Project
What specific qualifications or experience do you have in writing for the Pilates and wellness industry?

As a professional dancer with 15 years’ experience on stage and in front of the camera, along with over 20 years’ experience practicing and teaching Pilates, I have extensive experience with movement. I understand the human body in motion, and the best practices to produce fluid, strong, healthy movement.

Can you provide examples of successful copywriting projects you’ve worked on in this industry?

Yes! I have several examples. Part of the process of hiring an editor or writer, is to obtain a copy of work they have completed or produced. This is always done upon request from the potential client.

How do you ensure that the tone and messaging in your writing align with the brand and values of my Pilates business?

As your copywriter, I will engage in several conversations with you before starting the project. I will do research on your business, along with asking you specific questions. This helps me get to know you and your business so that I am able to pick up on your “voice” or “tone.” We will stay in communication the whole time. We will become a team and rely on each other to complete a successful outcome for you.

What is your typical turnaround time for delivering copywriting projects?

Turn around time really depends on the length of the project. I can usually get through a blog post edit in 24 hours. Books and manuscripts take longer. You and I will discuss your deadline and come to an agreement before the project starts.

Can I afford your services? What is your pricing for copywriting and copyediting services?

Pricing is dependent upon the service, e.g., editing or writing, light, or heavy work. On average you can expect to pay between $25 – $45 per hour. You and I will always come to an agreement on pricing before any of the work begins. It’s part of the process. No surprises.

Will the content that you write for me be unique?

I will always try to meet your needs. We will have plenty of discussions before the work begins. I work very hard to get a clear picture of the expected outcome. I also do several check-ins with you during the writing process to make sure I am meeting your needs.

Can you write content on topics outside of Pilates?

Yes! With a good amount of research, I can generally write on any topic, however, some of my favorite topics to write on are Pilates, Riding (Dressage), Performing/Public Speaking, Confidence, and Risk
