Congratulations!
Today is the last day in the Bikini Body Rescue Program! The past 3 weeks were full of Pilates and fun. I enjoyed recording the videos for you and I hope that you enjoyed working out with me.
Are you ready for the final workout?
Today we are completing the second part of the Full Body Pilates Workout. It’s almost 40 minutes long and it will make you use every muscle in your body (don’t forget to smile, then you will be training your facial muscles too:-) It can be a stand-alone workout OR you can combine it with our previous workout (click here if you missed it) for a full hour of Pilates (Wow!)
What’s Next?
Whenever I finish a course or a program (Pilates, web development, Bible study etc) I feel very accomplished but at the same time lost a little bit.
What do I do next?
How do I take what I’ve learned and gained and maintain it?
It can really be the hardest part of staying consistent with any life goal. Thankfully, with Pilates you never have to stop.
I’ve been practicing Pilates for 5 years now and I am still amazed how much more I need to learn. Every time that I edit the videos that I have recorded for you I catch myself noticing:
“My shoulders could have been a little more relaxed on this exercise.”
“This movement really showcases my weakness. I need to work on it more.”
“I finally can feel and see the flow in this sequence, good job! Time to challenge myself more!”
Each workout is an opportunity to get to know your body, feel how it is changing and get stronger one Pilates session at a time.
A couple of months ago I interviewed Alisa Wyatt from Pilatesology and asked her to share her #1 piece of advice for any Pilates student. She shared a question that Romana Kryzanowska used to ask after each session.
“What is one thing that I learned today?”
This question applies to Pilates as much as it does to any other aspect of our lives. If you set a goal every day or after every Pilates session to learn or notice something new then you will always be motivated to continue your journey (no matter what it is) and become stronger, more experienced and more knowledgeable than a day earlier.
Learn.
You have an opportunity to learn more about your body, get more in tune with it and get to the peak of your performance by continuing your Pilates practice. Go over all the videos of #BikiniBodyRescue (even if you are not planning on wearing a bikini!) and master them.
If you need a special approach to Pilates or want to advance your practice then take a class at a Pilates studio near you or contact me about having a virtual Pilates training with me.
Don’t Forget!
Tomorrow I will announce the winners of the Pilates Giveaways. You still have a couple of hours to enter for a chance to win
