A native New Yorker, Jared created Studio 26 as an oasis in the city for New Yorkers to physically connect, empower, and thrive.
Jared draws upon his movement training (he danced professionally with nicholasleichterdance and Tiffany Mills Co.) and studies of Alexander Technique, Body-Mind-Centering , and other somatic disciplines to assist clients in achieving their full potential through movement. Having used Pilates and corrective exercise to rebound from his own athletic/dance injuries himself, Jared is proud to help other people recover. He has worked with clients with a wide range of injuries from scoliosis, osteoporosis, herniated discs, MS, Meniere’s disease, lower back pain and meniscus tears to pre-and post-natal clients and cancer survivors.
He has trained clients from ages 13 to 94, including executives, celebrities, editors, fitness and cover models, triathletes, chefs, body builders, gymnasts, professional dancers, other trainers and all kinds of weekend warriors. His specialty is creating tailored private workouts that are as functionally challenging as they are fun.
